I recently moved to the area and taking care of my "grand dog" while my son (out of state) and his family are on vacation. Two days in and we have an injury. Midway was very caring on the phone and managed to get me in to be seen. The entire staff was incredibly patient and kind. Stitches were required for the overly anxious terrible-terrier, but Dr Lakey and staff did an outstanding job! I was more than impressed with the care we received, even though we are not an established patient. We know who to go to the next time she visits and needs care! Thank you to the staff!

I have a very ornery shiba inu. Which means I tend to want to avoid vet visits. They are stressful for him and myself. I’ve been going to this clinic since I moved to Winston Salem about four years ago and they have always been so patient. We relied on at home oral sedation before vet visits, then would need to completely sedate him on site. But now we just need the at home sedation and they can handle him with relative ease in house. And to say this is all a big sigh of relief is an understatement. Shiro is my boy and it always worries me taking him to places that can lead to “bad” behaviors. But the staff at midway animal clinic have always been so caring and I am never afraid of leaving him in their care. I have since moved to the very north most area of Winston Salem and wanted to look into a new vet closer to home but the staff have solidified my trust in them and I will be taking Shiro and my other pets to no other clinic. If you want a compassionate clinic to care for your pets, look no further. These are your guys.

Finding, then meeting, a new vet can be challenging. I am glad I chose Midway Animal Clinic. They are welcoming, helpful, and compassionate. My appointment was on time and not rushed. Pricing is in line with the current standards. I need look no further. This is no cookie cutter corporate facility. In fact, it's growing in a good way. I look forward to an ongoing care relationship for my pets here. Update: Been a couple of years now. I still feel the same. They are caring and responsive. My crew gets great care. Veterinary services in general aren't inexpensive, but unlike some corporate based offices, the docs, techs, and other staff listen and make the effort to plan what is reasonable and able to be accomplished.
